Coaching Strategy

My coaching strategy focuses on who you are, to guide what you do. My approach is built on a three-pronged strategy:

1) Self-Knowledge

2) Self-Awareness

3) Self-Care

They feed and augment each other in a self-reinforcing upward spiral toward lasting health and bliss.


Self knowledge

This is the absolute beginning. We seek to obtain a foundational understanding of your body, metabolism,lifestyle, inclinations, aversions, values and goals. 

This involves a detailed medical, personal and social history & a questionnaire to analyze your metabolic/dosha constitution. 

I use lifestyle medicine literature and Ayurveda to make these questionnaires and analyze your information.

We build on it throughout the coaching process by reflecting on your efforts, incidents, success, failures and life events. Reflecting unravels thought patterns, reveals knowledge, improves awareness, readiness to respond and hastens the process of learning and healing. 

Habitual reflection transforms experience into wisdom. Without it, we repeat the same patterns for decades. With it, life-transforming truths can be realized in seconds.

You can think of the coaching programme as a PhD in yourself. 

Self awareness

Without self knowledge, awareness can struggle to make sense of our experiences. With knowledge, awareness helps us to take timely and precise action. 

We use the practices of journaling and meditation to sharpen your awareness. 

You will learn to recognize and understand the subtle signals of your body & your patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviours. 

The Feedback Loop: As your awareness increases, so does your self-knowledge. You stop guessing and start knowing exactly what your body needs in the moment.

Self care

Once you understand your self and experiences, it becomes far easier to take necessary action. Action that is no longer a chore but an instinct. This understanding is vital to aligning our self care with the body’s natural intelligence and healing potential. 

When your actions align with your nature, you stop fighting and guilting yourself. We move away from “willpower” and toward sustainable habits that feel like second nature.

Through simple, daily efforts to optimize the eight pillars of lifestyle medicine, we achieve your health goals in a way that is natural and harmonious.

This is the wisdom of all life. It goes beyond our academically shaped intellect, guidelines and protocols.
